There is always something new and exciting happening at the lodge. Since January 1, 2005, Mandi, our life enrichment coordinator has kept us busy with all kinds of celebrations!

We celebrated Chinese New Year in February. That was a fun day complete with Chinese decorations. Yea! The Year Of The Rooster!

On Valentine’s Day we celebrated with a Cupid’s Café. That was a very formal affair with staff serving the residents in grand style.

We are looking forward to many other celebrations this year…I’m sure that Mandi will keep us busy.

Oh yes, NCL residents were asked to be the first live audience on the brand new TV show, The Senior Club. As you probably know by now, that is a great show airing on Friday mornings as 9:00 AM. The show allows for call-ins, there are games, there are prizes, and many interesting seniors are interviewed. We will be sponsoring the program and "yours truly", Mary Alice, will be a guest on the show once a month for the next six (6) months. Tune in…You’ll enjoy!

Just another side note, our own Mary Alice writes a monthly column for The Chronicle’s Senior Living Section which prints once a month. The column is entitles "Let’s Talk" and is intended to keep us all laughing!
